What did exist was Snow, a proposed sequel series centered exclusively on Jon Snow that Kit Harington himself pitched to HBO in 2022. George R.R. Martin confirmed the project was real, with Harington assembling a team of writers and multiple draft scripts produced. Emilia Clarke acknowledged the discussions in a 2022 BBC interview, stating Harington had told her about it and that it was happening. However, by April 2024, Harington revealed the project was off the table because the team could not find the right story to tell.
